Small details, better drinks

Good to know

Do I pour the wine into the cocktail?

Not in this version. Serve it separately; the calculator shows the cocktail, sidecar and combined total.

How should I drink it?

You can alternate small sips of cocktail and sparkling wine. The recipe does not require drinking the wine as a shot.

Can I use sweetened purée?

Check the label. Added sugar changes the balance; the source quantities cannot account for every product.
