How to make it
Click a step number to mark it as done.
Fill a large highball with ice cubes.
Measure in all five spirits, lemon juice and syrup.
Add the measured chilled cola and stir gently. Do not use a shaker.
Optionally garnish with lemon. Leave room for ice without overfilling.
Small details, better drinks
- IBA says to top with cola; 30 ml is our explicit editorial assumption.
- Extra cola changes volume and ABV, but not the alcohol from the measured spirits.
- There is no tea in this recipe; the name refers to its appearance.
Good to know
How much cola should I use?
We assume about 30 ml for repeatability; IBA does not specify a quantity.
Does it contain tea?
No. Cola and the other ingredients create the tea-like colour.
Can I use just one spirit?
That would be another drink. This recipe uses five separately measured spirits.
